I say half session, because we started out with just a couple of shots of Master M before we got him ready for his cake smash.
Those shots went something like this…

Then we gave him cake. He *should* have been in glorious chocolatey creamy heaven… but alas, this kid doesn’t like cake!
Do you all remember a few months ago when I ran a FaceBook competition? Well today I had Miss Tilly in for her session 
This was the winning picture, that her mum sent in – and gathered close to 50 votes!
And here are some of the shots we took today! Thanks for your patience with the weather – the last few weeks have been a little crazy for a natural light photographer!
And just because I found out Miss Tilly was having a first birthday next month… and I just so happen to have a spare slice of cake in the fridge… and because I can… we did a cake smash session as well :p
These boys and their mum came in with another mum (preview up next!) and her boy… and together the boys wreaked havoc all over the place. It was certainly a noisy and ‘busy’ morning at the studio, but what a wonderful big brother Master O is . He went from running around a little crazy-like with his buddy, to nursing his baby brother so so gently. We got some sweet pictures of them together mum, and I hope you are as pleased with them as I was.
Hmmm… a teething 4 month old. It was a little tricky to get those fingers out of her mouth, but we did get a few shots mum! I am happy to come to you in the next week or two and see if we can get her giggling like you wanted
This little munchkin only fell asleep in his mum’s arms for about 30 seconds… long enough to get one shot of his sweet sleeping face. The rest of the session he was looking around as bright-eyed as can be! Which is fine when they are happy… and this one much preferred to be clothed!
